Every year, the European Museum Night attracts a large number of visitors to a growing number of museums, as it allows visitors to discover or rediscover these sites, which are open free of charge, in a very special atmosphere, from dusk until midnight.
See you on Saturday 14 May 2022, near La Rochelle, for a European Museum Night full of surprises!
Book your stay at the Flower Camping l'Abri-Côtier to take advantage of illuminated visits, fun tours, projections, temporary exhibitions, musical tours, tastings, demonstrations of know-how, historical reconstructions, lighting, etc. These exceptional events will give the public a friendly and fun experience of the museum.
For one night, between sunset and 1 a.m., the public is invited to discover, free of charge, in an unusual, festive and fun way, the riches of France's museums, as well as those of some thirty European countries.
Initiated and organised by the Ministry of Culture, the "Night of the Museums" event, which succeeded the "Springtime of the Museums" in 2005, takes place every year on a Saturday in May, at the same time as ICOM's "International Museum Day".
The full programme of the "Night of the museums" is available a few weeks beforehand on: the national website of the European Night of the museums
