The spot chosen by wintering and bird migrations

Four organised routes

Just 4 km from the campsite (3.2km by bike, taking the Beach road), the Moëze-Oléron Nature Reserve is a gentle green break for holidaymakers to appreciate a unique environment in Charente-Maritime.

You can explore the "Polder Route", the "Tannes Route", "The lais de mer route" or even the "Sablière Route". You will wind your way through the heart of the old salt marshes. On the banks, you can see the "Scottish black face" sheep that help maintain the reserve naturally.

If you wish to find out more about the wealth of the Moëze-Oléron nature reserve, the Saint-Froult Pleasure Farm reception is an essential stop-off for information before visiting the site.

After spending time in the reserve, you can return along the Montportail beach.

If you are looking for a campsite close to Oléron, please contact Abri-Côtier to find out about availability.
