I book

Located on the migration path, Ile d'Aix, classified "remarkable natural site", is home to a significant bird population. The island boasts a wide variety of landscapes. Forests, creeks, vast beaches with fine sand are a delight for hikers... You can walk around the island in 3 hours or even rent a bike once you get there.

The island also houses rich historical heritage. Don't miss a visit to the Napoleonic Museum, the Liédot fort, La Rade fort or even the African Museum.

In just a few hours here, you'll find it's a wild island with many aspects: fortifications, oyster farms, heritage, beaches, restaurants, hiking, biking or horse-drawn carriage tours (the carriage drive around the island takes one hour).
